The Wednesday morning book group will be getting back into the swing of things on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, when we discuss Hard Rain Falling by Don Carpenter.
“This novel is a tough-as-nails account of being down and out, but never down for good. . . . The novel follows the adventures of Jack Levitt, an orphaned teenager living off his wits in the fleabag hotels and seedy pool halls of Portland, Oregon.” (from Amazon.com)
There will also be an evening option Wednesday the 11th at 7:00 PM, for those who cannot make the morning discussion.
