Church volunteers support the work of the Emergency Shelter Partnership, a coalition of 20 plus churches, synagogues and community groups in the area. The mission of the coalition is to provide temporary overnight shelter to homeless individuals during the winter months. The homeless are provided with sleeping bags, served a hot meal in the evening and given a bagged breakfast/lunch to take with them in the morning. Towels are collected for shower nights during the week and personal toiletry articles, such as toothbrushes and paste, soap, shampoo, razors and deodorant are distributed as needed.

Members work to diminish food insecurity by participating in the annual local CROP HUNGER WALK, and collecting and donating non-perishable foods to the Community Center of Northern Westchester throughout the year.
