Rev. Martin McGeachy
Pastor
Martin was born in Gainesville, Georgia, and grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, with a degree in Theatre. He also briefly taught English composition at his alma mater, then actively pursued a career in theatre, which led him to Little Rock, Arkansas and two decades of acting and playwriting in local and regional theatres. However, coming from an unbroken line of Presbyterian ministers going back five generations, he couldn’t resist the call to follow in their footsteps.
He straddled his theatrical career and growing call to ministry while pursuing a degree at Austin (Texas) Theological Seminary. Martin took seminarian assignments in the divinity school library, at a 363-bed hospital as a part-time chaplain, and in a summer internship at a small congregation near the Florida state capitol. Upon graduation, Martin was for nine years organizing pastor in a New Church Development congregation in Little Rock, Arkansas, where his daughters were born. In 2002 he accepted a call to Gilead Presbyterian Church in Carmel, New York. Rev. McGeachy came to Katonah Presbyterian in 2023.

Martin has two adult daughters, Rebekah and Rachel, who live in Boulder, Colorado, and Los Angeles, California. He is married to retired veterinarian Dr. Cynthia Kosacz, and as they each have two dogs, they spend a lot of time walking Winnie, Teddy, Eric, and Emery on the beautiful Hudson Valley trails.
Doug Phillips
Parish Associate
As Parish Associate, Doug provides pastoral support as needed and when directed by the pastor. When called upon, he assists in worship, preaches when needed, and provides any other additional pastoral services as requested by the congregation. He is a graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA and Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ.
Doug’s full-time ministry is to serve as the Chaplain to the Emergency Room, Burn Unit and Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.
Doug lives in Somers, NY with his wife Kate, their two children, and shares their home with two dogs and two cats.
Eunkyung “Grace” Woo
Director of Music
The stated goal of the KPC Music Ministry is that the words and music we present glorify God and communicate the Good News to all people. Grace fully supports this belief and looks forward to welcoming and inviting all to partake in the music ministry by sharing musical talents and supporting our robust programs.
Grace earned a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Yonsei University, South Korea. After moving to the United States, she earned a Master’s Degree in Composition from NYU in 2002 and a second Master’s Degree in Jazz Composition from William Paterson University in 2016.
Grace is a member of the Executive Committee and Orgel Kits Committee at Northern New Jersey American Guild of Organists. Currently, she lives in Demarest, NJ with her husband Myung and two boys.
Heidi Cambareri
Director of Christian Education
Heidi Cambareri is a part-time Director of Christian Education and works together
with our 2 Christian Education elders to create and carry out educational, social,
and service opportunities for the children and youth at Katonah Presbyterian
Church.
Heidi is a product of the KPC youth programs and spent many years
teaching Sunday School. She has a background as a Special Education teacher
and draws from her church and teaching experience to guide and shape the CE
program. Heidi is committed to fostering community and inspiring and enriching the lives of all the KPC youth, giving them the tools to carry on the KPC tradition of
“Making God’s Love Visible.”
Scott Munson
Handbell Director
Scott Munson is our Director of Handbells. He is committed to continuing the long history of handbells at KPC. His focus is on developing talent and skill for all levels of ringers.
He is a long-time member who lives in Yorktown Heights with his family.
Jan DePalo
Church Administrator
As Church Administrator, Jan is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the church finances, payroll functions, and the many administrative tasks associated with a church environment. She especially enjoys it when members of the congregation stop by her office!
Jan lives with her husband Tom in Sandy Hook, CT where they are very involved in their church community at Newtown United Methodist Church. She enjoys reading and putting together jigsaw puzzles with Tom. She walks for exercise most days before work around the streets of Katonah.
Felipe Rojas
Custodian
Felipe has been a custodian at KPC for the last four years. He appreciates the supportiveness of the church community.
In his free time he likes to paint, exercise, hike, and camp with his wife and their eleven-year-old son.
Carmen Delgado
Custodian
Carmen has been working at KPC for seventeen years. She likewise appreciates the supportiveness of the church family. Her brother, Nelson Guerrero, had also been a longtime custodian at KPC.
Carmen moved to the United States from Ecuador twenty-six years ago. She and her husband raised four children, all of whom have graduated from college and are pursuing their MBAs. In her free time she likes to garden, knit, and spend time with her family.
Session Elders
The session shall have responsibility for governing the congregation and guiding its witness to the sovereign activity of God in the world, so that the congregation is and becomes a community of faith, hope, love, and witness. Book of Order G-3.0201
Session Elders are selected by a nominating committee and voted upon by the congregation in our annual meeting, serving a term of three years, with five new Elders each year. Each Elder is assigned a committee and is responsible for an important aspect of the life of the church.
