Blessing of the backpacks

On Homecoming Sunday, September 8th, all children and youth are invited to bring their backpacks to church with them to receive a special blessing prior to the start of school. 

Have extra gently used backpacks lying around? Bring them along and we will collect them and donate them to the Community Center of Northern Westchester or Midnight Run. There will be Sunday School for toddlers-8th grade with a return to separate classrooms for toddlers through Kindergarten, 1st-5th grade, and 6th-8th grade. Homecoming Sunday is a great time to reconnect after the summer and welcome any newcomers to Sunday School- so invite some friends!
